Hays County Recycling and Solid Waste Disposal Centers
Hays County is dedicated to responsible disposal and recycling and operates two recycling centers in conjunction with its solid waste disposal centers. These facilities are designed to help Hays County residents contribute to a less wasteful lifestyle through recycling and to help keep our county free of trash.
Please help us keep these sites clean and recycle only what is accepted. If the recycling bins are full, please notify attendant. Leave trash in the designated areas for trash.State law requires all incoming loads to be completely covered so that no materials blow off or fall off of a vehicle. Violators will be assessed a $10 surcharge.

Hazardous materials are not recyclable at the Centers. Here’s how you can dispose of them safely. Brush is not accepted at either Center; commercial waste and recycling is accepted only at the Wimberley facility.
