Hays County owns and operates the Jacob’s Well Natural Area (map) north of Wimberley at 221 Woodacre Drive (also known as Acacia Drive) and the Five Mile Dam Park Complex (map) on the Blanco River just north of San Marcos at 4440 S. Old Stagecoach Road, across the street from the Blanco Vista subdivision.

There is no charge for access to Hays County Parks. The parks are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during Daylight Saving Time (begins second Sunday in March) and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during Standard Time (begins first Sunday in November). Read about each park’s amenities and rules below.
