INTERNS CAN GAIN EXPERIENCE IN ANY
OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS
Management: Includes maintaining a budget, processing of billing, and records management.
Research Support: Assisting patrons, judges and attorneys with finding legal research materials, legal forms, and self-help materials.
Library Management: Maintaining both print and online legal resources. This includes updating case reporters, statutory services, treatises, secondary and other resources.
Job Requirements: College coursework. Experience in secretarial or office/clerical work preferred. Experience with personal computers and basic knowledge using Microsoft Word. Interest in gaining knowledge of legal research methods on a variety of topics, most importantly family law. Customer service experience. Good knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling. General skill in expressing oneself clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
