District Attorney - Civil Division

Mission Statement: 

The Civil Division of the District Attorney’s office provides legal assistance to the Hays County Commissioners Court, as well as the County’s Elected Officials, Department Heads, and Employees.  It also provides legal representation for the County in Asset and Bond Forfeitures, represents the Department of Family and Protective Services in civil suits affecting parental rights, contract creation and negotiations, Open Records, and other legal actions.

 We provide legal counsel to Hays County Employees and Elected Officials.
