BR3T Seeks Living Quarters for Recovery Volunteers

The Blanco River Regional Recovery Team (BR3T) is expecting hundreds of volunteers to come to the area between now and the end of summer to help rebuild homes, and needs to find long- and short-term housing for them as they help our citizens recover from the Memorial Weekend floods and storms.

“We’re asking for anyone with living quarters to donate or rent to us to contact us as soon as possible to discuss arrangements,” BR3T Executive Director James Gabriel said. “We need dorm rooms, apartments, houses, motel/hotel rooms and RV spaces with utility hookups. Our volunteers are here to help us and while they don’t require luxury accommodations, they do need a place to stay. Some will be here for a week, some for months, so we can consider a variety of living options.”

Anyone with potential housing is asked to contact the BR3T office at 512-677-5933 or stop by the BR3T office at 801 W. MLK (Dunbar Center) San Marcos, TX, during normal business hours.
