Repairs to the Green Acres Drive bridge over Wilson Creek in Precinct 3 will begin Tuesday, June 3. Motorists may experience periodic one-lane traffic over the bridge through the end of June.

The bridge was damaged by the Halloween Floods in 2013 when asphalt was stripped from the roadway by rushing water. A contractor for Hays County will be replacing the asphalt with concrete. Because school buses use the bridge, repairs were scheduled for summer as there was no structural damage to the bridge.
