FEMA has extended the deadline to apply for Individual Assistance from the Memorial Weekend flood and storms from July 28 to August 27. If you are a renter or homeowner who has lost property or incurred expenses due to the flood and storms, apply as soon as you can. You may be eligible for grants, low-interest loans, temporary housing financial assistance, reimbursement of medical or dental expenses and other qualifying events. Each individual application is different, so don't rely on what your neighbor or friend is eligible for.
